My four-footed furry feline friend, Jazzy. Shortly after moving to San Jose, my wife and I visited our local humane society to find a friend to help me deal with the recent assault from which I was recovering.
When we met Jazzy we had an immediate connection, and it was clear she was choosing my wife and me. From then on, she was a great friend; she always listened and was a very loving kitty. In some ways, I think she needed us as much as we needed her. She has had a profound impact on myself and my wife, and she will always be a part of our family.
